Dear Friend:
I have had the honor to serve as Gallatin County Attorney since 1997. During that time I have worked hard to ensure your safety through my advocacy for crime victims and my prosecution of criminal offenders. I have worked in the Legislature to strengthen drunk-driving laws. If we are to preserve the quality of life we currently enjoy in our Gallatin Valley, we must have an experienced and proven County Attorney to combat crime and to deal with our overcrowded and unsafe jail.
As your County Attorney for the past ten years, and as someone who served as a deputy county attorney for 13 years, I have worked hard to protect our quality of life in this time of unprecedented growth. I have advised the County Commissioners as they made important decisions on land use, one of the most critical issues facing Gallatin County residents. My knowledge of zoning and subdivision law is an invaluable asset to the Commissioners and I pledge to continue to help the Commissioners as they craft regulations that protect private property interests while preserving the quality of life that we currently enjoy.
